Event Details

Register now for your chance to hear from the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) ahead of its visit to Australia in March as it currently explores opportunities to establish an Asia Pacific presence in Australia. Join us as we hear first-hand from ATCC on what an Asia Pacific presence might mean for Australia's health and medical research and innovation sector.

The ATCC is a US-based, non-profit, global biological resource centre and standards organization that plays a crucial role in providing scientists with the biomaterials and resources they need to conduct critical life science research.

The ATCC supports the scientific community with the world's most diverse collection of human and animal cell products, as well as molecular genomic tools, microbe products, and biological materials. It offers a host of services, including cell and microbial culturing and authentication, development and production of controls and derivatives, proficiency testing, and biomaterial deposit services. Through the ATCC Federal Solutions initiative, it lends its expertise to US federal agencies (including NIAID, CDC and NIH) in areas that include global health and infectious diseases, biodefense, and noncommunicable diseases.
